The Situation
A family was planning a full kitchen gut and primary suite renovation. They had an interior designer and a GC. What they didn't have was anyone coordinating the smart home systems, lighting control, and AV infrastructure — until walls were already framed.
What Was at Risk
Smart home rough-in conflicting with the designer's furniture plan. Lighting control keypads in the wrong location. Speakers buried under hardwood that couldn't be moved. All of it would have cost 3× more to fix after drywall.
How We Coordinated
Ascendesign was brought in before walls closed. We designed the smart home system alongside the interior design, coordinated rough-in with the GC, and managed every technology trade through commissioning.
